Family farm, egg & craft orders · Colombia
Finca La Lolita
A full ordering system for a family egg farm, built around WhatsApp, not a checkout page.
Visit the live site ↗An egg that cracks open as you scroll
"Every egg has a story": a 300-frame cinematic sequence, drawn frame by frame on canvas as the visitor scrolls, builds from a single glowing egg to the shell shattering open. The same frame-swap technique this site's own Hero uses, and for the same reason — real video seeking is unreliable on a phone mid-scroll, while swapping an already-decoded frame never stutters. Reduced-motion visitors and anyone on a slow connection get a still photo instead; the sequence never downloads for them.

Ordering in three steps, no account required
Pick how many cartons with a plus/minus button, see the total update live, then send the order to Dagoberto on WhatsApp with everything already filled in. No checkout form, no account to create first — built this simply on purpose, since many of the farm's customers are older and buy by phone, not by browsing a store.

Today's real carton price, not a fixed number
Egg prices move with the market, so the site doesn't pretend otherwise: a dedicated section shows today's carton price pulled live from the farm's own data, with no invented figure ever shown in its place — until Dagoberto confirms a price, the card says so plainly and points the visitor to WhatsApp instead of guessing.

Accounts, points and an admin panel behind the scenes
A Supabase-backed system most sites this size don't have: customers can create a free account to re-order faster and earn points on every carton, redeemable for farm rewards. Dagoberto gets his own admin panel to update the carton price, delivery zones, schedules and order status — all protected by database-level security rules, not just a password on a page.
A catalog that never invents a price
Eggs and handmade crafts share one central catalog file. A product only goes live once its photos are confirmed, and if a price isn't set yet, the order message says "price to be confirmed by Dagoberto" instead of showing a number nobody approved — a small rule that matters a lot once real money and a family business are on the other end of every message.
Why it feels special
- A cinematic, scroll-driven hero built the same way this site's own is.
- Ordering reduced to three taps and a WhatsApp message — no account wall.
- A live carton price that's honest when it isn't confirmed yet, never invented.
- Customer accounts, loyalty points and an owner's admin panel, backed by Supabase.
- A single source-of-truth catalog that only ever shows real, confirmed prices.
